The Lane Shark Hammerhead Brush Cutter (Model HH4) is a patented, hydraulically articulated, multi-position rotary brush cutter designed for tractor Front-End Loaders (FEL). It allows operators to hydraulically adjust cutting angles directly from the cab to efficiently clear overgrown trails, fence lines, and ditches

Technical Specifications
The official core mechanical and hydraulic specifications for the Lane Shark Hammerhead include:
    • Cutting Diameter: 44 inches.
    • Unit Weight: Approximately 550 lbs.
    • Hydraulic Flow Range: 8.5 to 20 GPM (Gallons Per Minute).
    • Tractor Horsepower Range: 25 to 60+ HP.
    • Minimum Tractor Weight: 3,000 lbs (dry weight).
    • Minimum Tractor Width: 55 inches.
    • Cutting Angles: Vertical down to 25°–55° offset positions.
    • Mount Compatibility: SSQA (Skid Steer Quick Attach) and JD (John Deere) Hook & Pin systems.
    • Hydraulic Fitting Type: #10 ORB (O-Ring Boss).
    • Minimum Hose Size: 1/2-inch inner diameter.

Key Features & Functionality
    • Hydraulic Articulation: Unlike older manually adjusted models, it moves from a flat home position to various cutting angles hydraulically using integrated cab controls.
    • High Efficiency: The 44-inch cutting swath slices through dense underbrush, heavy brambles, and small saplings, reducing manual labor times.
    • Extended Reach: The side-extension capability allows operators to cut steep pond banks, over hanging limbs, and over fences without driving the tractor into hazardous areas.
    • Included Accessories: Each unit comes standard with a proprietary switch box, along with pressure and return whip hoses to connect to the tractor loader bulkhead.
    • Origin: Proudly manufactured and assembled in the USA.

System & Compatibility Requirements
  • Third Function Required: The unit requires a dedicated hydraulic third-function system on the front loader for operational control.
  • Incompatible Setups: The system is completely incompatible with rear remotes, diverter valves, stacked valve third-functions, and standard skid steers.
  • Loader Priority: Utilizing unapproved diverter setups will cause a loss of primary loader priority during operation.
  • Counterweight Recommendation: Due to the 550 lb offset weight, it is highly recommended to use rear wheel ballast or heavy rear implements to maintain stability while the cutter is extended.
